First of July


I planted my early fall crop seeds today under the blazing high sun. It's time and I'm getting more organized this year. Must be the farming.

Broccoli Romanesco, cauliflower Sicilian violet, broccoli Di Cicco, more bulbing fennel, and more romaine lettuce. Not sure if the plots will be tilled by the Fed this October, so I'm keeping down the numbers for fall.

I've no pictures of such a mundane task with potting soil, so I add the one below of Friday's oregano harvest drying in the studio.
