Snow What?

I got these from Adriana at the plant giveaway. She wasn't sure what they were. My call -snowdrops, though it seems late for them. What do you think?

  1. Hey! Those things are growing next door. I don't know what they are. Not snowdrops, I do not think ( I never think...bad for you). They are also at the Battery Conservancy, under the plane trees. The old encyclopedia is going to have to come out.

  4. Star of Bethlehem? They are all over Prospect Park. Does it have basal leaves? The green stripe behind the petals looks very Star-of-Bethlehem-like. Really like your blog!

  5. Thanks! I believe you are right, Star of Bethlehem. Apparently a wolf on sheep's clothing. I think I may toss it.

If I do not respond to your comment right away, it is only because I am busy pulling out buckthorn, creeping charlie, and garlic mustard...
