The Daily Beast dot com says that all the geese were rounded up in Prospect Park a few days ago and were gassed. They waited until the geese had molted and couldn't fly in order to get all of them. They said it was part of a program to get rid of all geese within a 7 mile radius of the NY airports.

I have never appreciated rain so much now that I have a rooftop garden...I love it, but sometimes the watering can get pretty tedious!
