The Herd


I often see them running.



Particularly in the woods behind the house, running northeast to southwest or the reverse.



This time, it was out in the fields, down the road.

    How wonderful to see them running in all that safe space! It makes me sad to see them running through yards, across streets, down sidewalks, searching for a place just to be.
